Oh sure, it could be the weather. Raining for days on end. 3rd round of Tornado watches this week (I think, I stopped counting). Could be the endless edits on this webpage and the fact that I can't escape my computer. Could be my pants don't fit and the more I try to exercise, the less they fit (please explain why that is).

| not sure this pirate tooth effectively conveys BAD |
This is not how I wanted to spend my Monday, much less Chinese New Year. I always make a big meal for Chinese New Year (which would have been planned at the last minute if I'd been up for it, but hey... It would have happened). It's fun, good food, time with the kids... but this year, I'll be lucky if I can chew tonight.
I've also been griping a supersticious kind of way that in Chinese New Year mythology you're supposed to stay away from knives and scissors and pointy things so you don't "Cut off your Luck." So is it bad to have your tooth ground out, or is that a good thing? The root of evil and malaise is gone?
I'm a trouper, so I've already taken my gigantic advil and am chillin reading all my homework emails and updates (not gonna lay about all day... who has time for that?) but this is going to kind of suck for a few days I'm told. I'm grumbling even more because for the amount I paid for this stupid tooth, I could have bought that iPad I've been complaining about needing.
However, every bad story has got itself a silver lining somewhere.
1) I was able to pay for the darn thing.
2) They caught it before I was in persistant dreadful pain
3) Dr. Hannahan and his staff were excellent, and I highly recommend them!
4) I had gigantic advil at home already
5) Hubby was able to pick up the kids today.
Lunch will be another matter, but until then hope you have a root-canal free day!
